The Look of Chanel Fall Winter 2012 collection in Paris was a spectacle centered around a crystal space theme. Karl Lagerfeld transformed the Grand Palais into a glittering cavern, with giant, mock-crystal formations adorning the space. The collection itself featured crystal embellishments on clothing, shoes, and even eyebrows, creating a sense of icy glamour.
Backstage, makeup artist Peter Philips crafted one of the most iconic beauty looks of the decade: crystal-studded eyebrows, frosted silver eyeshadow, luminous skin, and a soft nude lip. Sam McKnight created sleek ponytails with geometric precision, echoing the collection’s angular energy. Featuring exclusive interviews with Designer Karl Lagerfeld and featuring top model Bianca Balti.
