Nicki Minaj wasn't the only one blown away by Prabal Gurung's sexy Spring Summer 2012 Collection in New York.  We agree - this was one powerful fashion show.  As Prabal explained to me backstage "It's sexy, tough, confident and at the same time sensual".

Prabal Gurung's collection is exploding with color and the show was inspired by Nobuyoshi Araki sensual flowers series which Prabal incorporated into all those gorgeous prints.

Sumptuous and pretty.  Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2012 collection perfectly captures the soft, romantic look of the season.  Designer Marc Jacobs is so inspiring and he knows how to create the "wow" factor by staging shows that are full of fantasy and great fashion.

The models a the Louis Vuitton show looked like fairy tale princesses as they sat on the white carrousel in their embellished sorbet colored dresses.  The show was beautiful and just out of this world.  It's Mark Jacobs love of beauty and fashion that really comes through at every Vuitton collection he creates.

As Marc explained to me backstage after the show, "I love fashion so much, we don't do this because we have to - we do this out of love - it's not for a paycheck - it's done from a place of passion.  Nobody needs fashion - it's a luxury.  Nobody needs fashion, they want fashion - it sort of pulls at your heart when it works".

"Mythology" is the theme of the calendar as Lagerfeld was inspired by Greek mythology and cast his models as gods and goddesses. As Daria Werbowy admits in the film "..you have to be a warrior to be a model..and we are kind of like unearthly human beings".

The 2011 Pirelli Calendar was shot at Lagerfeld's studio in Paris and features supermodels Daria Werbowy, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Ana Rubik, Erin Wasson, Isabeli Fontana, Lara Stone, Magdalena Frackowiak, Brad Kroenig, Baptiste Giabiconi, Heidi Mount, Elisa Sednoui, Freja Beha, Iris Strubegger, Jack Davies, Bianca Balti, Garrett Neff, Jeneil Williams, Natasha Poly and Lakshmi Menon. Donatella Versace electrified the audience at her Versace Fall 2012 collection in Milan with a collection that was a gothic, hard-core sexy and gave homage in part to her late brother Gianni Versace's last collection in 1997.

This show perfectly captures the mood of the moment, "the Gothic Goddess" a tough, strong woman inspired by actress Rooney Mara, the star of the film 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. Hair stylist Guido Palau gave the models short cropped bangs in the spirit of Joan of Arc.  That severe, stunning look was offset by artist Pat McGrath's dark smoky eye makeup and bleached brows.  It was powerful, sexy and defiant.

Donatella hit the mark with this collection; it screamed confidence, from the armorlike corsets;  the chain mail pieces and the encrusted crosses, it was stunning. Victoria's Secret supermodel Miranda Kerr is sharing her secret to a sexy body.  When the 29 year old Australian beauty hit the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last November she stole the show.  Miranda had just given birth to her new son Flynn a few months earlier and when she returned to the VS catwalk she looked flawless. The question everyone was asking is how did she do it?

Miranda is devoted to fitness and a healthy lifestyle and does 30 minutes of yoga every morning, compliments that with pilates, regular walks and eats super healthy.  The fitness brand Reebok noticed and now Miranda is the official spokesperson for Easy Tone.

As Miranda confesses, "I love EasyTone! They look great and they're super comfortable. I love the results you get wearing them and that I can just throw them in my suitcase and have them with me all the time when I'm travelling. My life is so busy that I can't always make it to the gym but I love to walk as much as I can and I make EasyTone part of my fitness routine by wearing them when I'm walking."

For Miranda, feeling fit and healthy is at the top of the list of her notions of satisfaction. "I chose stretching as one of my ideas for ultimate satisfaction because I love yoga and I get so much satisfaction out of stretching, it makes me feel good and re-energized. I think to be truly satisfied is to be comfortable within your own skin."

The Lanvin Fall 2012 fashion show was one of the most unforgettable nights at Paris Fashion week. Designer Alber Elbaz celebrated his 10th anniversary with the house and so he decided to stage his fall 2012 fashion show and throw a party the same night.

Backstage the mood was also upbeat - Alber wanted the models to have a bold modern look so makeup artist Pat McGrath gave all the girls black winged liner.  Guido Palau decided to keep the hair relaxed hair to complement the rich colors and feminine silhouettes seen on the runway. Top model Abbey Lee Kershaw talks to us about her band Our Mountain's new song 'Devils Banquet' and their new campaign fashion video introducing the Pierre Balmain 2012 Collection.  Directed by Inez and Vinoodh, the film features pieces from the Pierre Balmain women's and men's collection worn by top model Abbey Lee and her boyfriend, Our Mountain front man Matthew Hutchinson.
