Watch a preview of the documentary film on Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld ‘Fashion As a Relgion’.  Over 16 months, author and producer Martina Neuen joined fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld for VOX TV in Germany and talked to him exclusively about his daily work between fashion shows and photo exhibitions, about his life, his career and the specialties of the fashion world.

Karl Lagerfeld opens his private photo archive and the gates to his creative sites. In addition to the designer also faithful companions like the supermodels Inès de la Fressange, Claudia Schiffer and Linda Evangelista, his longtime friend, the printer Gerhard Steidl, the editor in chief of German Vogue Christiane Arp, fashion critic Suzy Menkes and members of his team get to talk.

What fashion means to them, Lagerfeld fans like the Hollywood stars Diane Kruger, Sarah Jessica Parker and Milla Jovovich reveal. The documentary will be aired on September 7 2013, at 8:15 PM on VOX TV in Germany.
