Missoni’s Fall 2010 campaign film shot by 83 year-old experimental filmmaker, actor and writer Kenneth Anger is avant garde and incredibly cool. It features the entire Missoni clan and is truly one of the most experimental fashion films we’ve seen this year.

I’m fascinated by Kenneth Anger’s use of color and his ability to transform a film into a three-dimensional texture, a fabric of images in movement,” Angela Missoni told Italian Vogue. The film is done in the hallucinatory, soft and dynamic style typical of Anger’s work.

Kenneth Anger (born Kenneth Wilbur Anglemeyer; February 3, 1927) is an American underground experimental filmmaker, actor and author. Working exclusively in short films, he has produced almost forty works since 1937, nine of which in particular have been grouped together as the “Magick Lantern Cycle”, and form the basis of Anger’s reputation as one of the most influential independent filmmakers in cinema history.
