Calling all talented young fashion designers looking for a career boost. Do you know anyone fitting this description? If yes, then StyleTrek.com would like to hear from you.

StyleTrek is about to recruit its first 50 designers from around the world to launch through the platform. The company will house inventory, handle shipping and provide intensive social-marketing and PR support to the successful ones it’ll take under its wing. The site will launch properly in Fall 2010.

The on line retail innovation, launched by e-commerce maverick Cecilia Pagkalinawan aims to fuse the benefits of social networking with the booming industry of online fashion retailing and offer concepts such as current-season swimwear from Brazil, collection sneakers from Japan and prints from Ghana, with live, 24-hour customer support and free returns.

The site encourages users to become a “StyleTrekker” and help spot talent from around the globe. So if you think you can spot new talent like Anna Wintour or have Carine Roitfeld’s eye for style then sign up at the site. Whether it’s a bagmaker from Bali, or a hatmaker from Helsinki, they want to know about them. If you are the first to bring StyleTrek new talent, you will get a percentage of that designer’s sales.

Anyone wishing to have their wares considered by Style Trek needs to fill out the free, one-page application, at styletrek.com. The deadline is May 30, 2010.

Here are a few of the emerging designers from Europe, Africa, China and North America StyleTrek are considering to feature on their site. Who knows through StyleTrek’s new global platform perhaps you could become the next Marc Jacobs or Christopher Bailey.
