In this candid interview Karl shares his thoughts on social media and tells us why Cara Delevingne is the “it girl” of the moment.

Rihanna x River Island Fall 2013 Collection

Get an exclusive first look at Rihanna’s Fall 2013 Collection for River Island which hits stores on September 12th. This is Rihanna’s second collection for the British based brand “I literally designed everything I want to wear—exactly how I want to wear it,” Rihanna explains in a video of the campaign shoot, which she wanted to exude a “New York Street vibe.”

In addition to the RiRi-tagged underwear there’s “G4Life” underthings and plenty of camouflage and leather pieces. The campaign features models Nayasha Kusakina, Tati Cotliar, Milou Van Grossen, Nayasha Kusakina and Ji Hye Park, and was lensed by Lachian Bailey.

The annual fashion show show features some of the world’s leading fashion models such as current Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge, and Lindsay Ellingson.

The beauty look of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show is modern, fresh and very sexy. The VS glam team, makeup artist Tom Pecheux and hair stylist Orlando Pita are two of the world’s hottest beauty pros and they are bringing more of a fashion edge to the show. Orlando Pita piled on the extensions and gave the models sexy tousled waves using Victoria’s Secret Volume Mousse and a large barrel curling iron. As Orlando explained ” it’s going to be shiny with very luxurious waves and still have that glamour edge“.

Tom Pecheux decided to ditch the bronzer this time and gave the models a fresh, healthy look using the VS Makeup collection. The focus was on the eyes – he used a black liner and lots of mascara added some false lashes to give more a cat eye shape. The result is ‘super sexy‘ and a look that all the models adore. Oribe’s sexy aura and talent for iconic image making has a powerful influence on new models starting in the business. “I adore Oribe, I loved working with him and..he just smells so good ” top model Candice Swanepoel gushed to me backstage in Paris. Candice credits her recent Italian Vogue cover shoot with Oribe and photographer Steven Meisel as the main reason she was able to cross over from Victoria’s Secret to high fashion and was booked for so many designer fashion shows at Fall 2011 Fashion Week.
