We loved the Prada Spring 2013 collection – it’s seriously one of our favorite collections of the season.

The graphic pop red lip that makeup Pat McGrath created for the show is one of the biggest trends for Spring ’13. Everything in the Prada show was beyond beautiful – from the graphic glasses to the Japanese style shoes to the power flower prints. Prada’s autumn 2012 campaign is set on futuristic vision of fantasy and desire. It has been shot by Steven Meisel, and features models Elza Luijendijk, Vanessa Axente, Iselin Steiro, and Madison Headrick.

It is an abstract video placed in Miuccia Prada’s Fall 2012 show’s ‘virtual princess’ theme. We love the way Steven has got glimpses of the collection, and still managed to hold the viewers interest with the models playing an intense game of chess.

Watch Prada Spring Summer 2013 Menswear fashion video live from Milan Fashion week. Miuccia Prada delivers a collection with sporty, modern look for Spring 2013. The new track pant rules.

Sport and minimalism was the theme of this Prada collection and it was full of energetic pieces made for modern life. Blocks of eye-catching colour — green, aviator blue, white and bordeaux — were paired with sandals, worn with black socks. The look is casual but chic.

Even though this was supposed to be strictly a Menswear show, Miuccia sent out looks for both men and women. It was great to see some of our favorite top models like Magdalena Frackowiak in the show – perhaps giving us a little hint of what we can expect at Prada’s women’s Spring 2013 show in September. We love the new oversized unisex bag, perfect for day or as an overnight bag.

Top Model Barbara Palvin

#FlashbackFriday Meet hot model Barbara Palvin. The 16 year old native of Budapest, Hungary was the star of Fall 2010 fashion week and is a supermodel in the making.

Discovered when she was just 13 years old, Barbara is now with IMG Models and made her exclusive runway debut at Prada’s Fall 2010 Collection. In Paris she did all the top fall 2010 collections including Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Giles Deacon and Nina Ricci.

Barbara, who looks like a baby Natalia Vodianova, is having an amazing breakout season recently shooting editorials for W Magazine, Vogue Paris, Glamour, Numero and Jalouse. We caught up with Barbara backstage at Nina Ricci and Prada’s Fall 2010 shows – see why this girl is destined to be a major star.

Update: Today Barbara Palvin is one of the ambassadors of L’Oreal Paris and is one of the beauty brand’s hottest stars. She’s walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and was recently named Sports Illustrated ‘Swimsuit Rookie of the Year’. Follow Barbara on instagram @realbarbarapalvin

Prada Spring | Summer 2012 fashion video Ad campaign, features top fashion models Natasha Poly, Guinevere van Seenus, Elise Crombez, Meghan Collison, Katryn Kruger, and Ymre Stiekema. The 50’s inspired retro themed campaign photographed by Steven Meisel captures the models in full sun with vintage cars at a 50’s style gas station.

We’re obsessed with Prada’s spring summer 2012 collection with it’s multitude of floral motifs, graphic flame designs, and sweet pastels. Bright pops of primary hues excite the looks and give a modern, yet edgy feel. The real stars of campaign are the clusters of gemstones in the form of bracelets, necklaces, belts, brooches, and those to die for tear drop flower earrings.

This show is Miuccia Prada’s most personal collection to date and the 50’s inspired looks are one of the hottest trends of the season. As Guido explained to us backstage “It’s a little bit of a trashy girl wearing very sophisticated clothing, but she lives in a dark Lynchesque world”. Allure Backstage – Prada Fall 2012 Backstage Beauty Video. Go backstage at Prada Fall 2012 with top model Natasha Poly to see the look makeup artist Pat McGrath and hairstylist Guido Palau created for the show that was simply out of this world. As Pat explained to me backstage, “Mrs Prada was talking about the girls looking like virtual princesses. So we’ve done makeup from another world. We used black cream purple eyeshadow, black eyeliner, white eyeliner, orange cream shadows“. Pat also bleached all the models brows and painted them orange. “The look is alot like Rooney Mara which is quite a huge trend for Fall“.

Miuccia Prada is always pushing fashion forward, but the extreme beauty look Pat McGrath created inspired us to dream, think about the future and to consider how technology is affecting us all.
