Burberry Backstage 2018 Wendy Rowe & Cara Delevingne

Watch our exclusive film on Burberry Backstage 2018 with makeup artist Wendy Rowe and top model Cara Delevingne at Christopher Bailey’s final Burberry Collection. Some of the world’s iconic supermodels from Naomi Campbell to Kate Moss, Edie Campbell and Adowa Aboah were there to celebrate this seminal night in the brand’s history.

Wendy Rowe has been working with Christopher Bailey for 16 years. As the Artistic Consultant for Burberry Beauty, she creates the makeup looks for the fashion shows and advertising campaigns and designs the beauty range. Wendy’s role is all about taking Christopher’s vision for Burberry and translating it for the British woman. As she explains backstage, “this year it was all about creating the purest form of the models’ own beauty; just showing off what they were naturally born with”.

Supermodel Cara Delevingne loves Wendy’s natural, cool-girl approach to beauty and admits that she as “taught her so much about makeup”. British Model of the year Adowa Aboah adores Rowe because “she knows how to bring out your inner beauty, everything she does makes you look better”.

I met Wendy Rowe at her first Burberry show in 2002 and have filmed backstage with her for over a decade. So when Wendy asked me to come to London to film behind the scenes with her at Christopher Bailey’s final show I was honoured.

The 43 year old British beauty and host of “The Face” is stunning on the cover shoot wearing a blonde wig. Inside the magazine, Vogue celebrates its 38th anniversary with Naomi photographed by JR Duran, Jacques Dequeker and Munro.

The May issue of Vogue Brazil hits newsstands on April 26th.

Naomi Campbell Reality TV Show “The Face” Preview

Get a first look at Naomi Campbell’s new reality TV show, The Face in this video preview. It looks like there will be plenty of drama between her and the two other top model coaches – Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha. “I’m very disappointed in your choice Karolina,” Campbell tells the Czech-born model in the preview. “What I’m going to tell you is that it’s game on from now on.”

The programme debuts on Oxygen in February 2013 – will see the trio handpick a group of aspiring models, who will then be presented with a series of challenges to prepare them for the fashion world.

Roberto Cavalli Spring 2012 Ad Campaign features four iconic models – Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson, Kristen McMenamy and Daphne Groeneveld.

Steven Meisel shot the campaign at Pier 59 studios in New York, in a simple backdrop that kept the focus on the printed silk dresses and the hand embroidered glittering pieces that look more like couture than ready to wear.

The inspiration behind all that decadent gold? As Creative Director Eva Cavalli explained to us backstage at the Roberto Cavalli Spring 2012 Fashion Show in Milan, the collection is about optimism – “we wanted to make shine this world that sometimes very dark“.

Duran Duran’s music video for their latest single ‘Girl Panic’ was released today featuring the world’s hottest supermodels including Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Yasmin Le Bon and Helena Christensen. Designers Dolce & Gabbana also make a cameo appearance in the video. It’s directed by Jonas Akerlund, one of the hottest directors on the planet, known for his collaborations with Lady Gaga. Givenchy Fall 2011 Ad Campaign has top models Naomi Campbell, Natalia Vodianova, Mariacarla Boscono roaring for the lens of photographers Mert and Marcus Piggott. The wild campaign was styled by Carine Roitfeld and Panos Yiapanis, Makeup by Lucia Perroni and hair by Luigi Murenu.

Supermodels Reunite for Duran Duran Video “Girl Panic”

The world’s top supermodels including Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigova and Yasmin LeBon gathered in London last week to shoot new music video for Duran Duran. The video is for Duran Duran’s new track called “Girl Panic”. Directed by Jonas Ackerlund who also produced Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” video and the Kate Moss Dior Addict Commercial, the video is set to be serialized virally online before premiering in whole later this year.

According to online reports published on Fashionologie and Styleite the video was filmed in central London “at a posh hotel,” with Crawford riding in the back of a Rolls Royce and the supermodels performing as the band. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were also on the set, which doubled as a cover shoot for Harper’s Bazaar UK.

Stefano Gabbana posted a series of photos to his Tumblr of him with supermodels Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, and Yasmin Le Bon.

Duran Duran confirmed the video shoot on their Facebook page, writing: “So next Monday and Tuesday (June 6/7) Duran Duran will be filming a vid for “Girl Panic!”, directed by none other than Jonas Akerlund…and to confirm, supermodels flying in to appear in the video…Stay Tuned!” On Monday, they wrote: “more from [band member] JT: “Don’t get too excited, but we’re on the set with Cindy C, Helena, Yasmin, Eva and … Naomi is in the Presidential Suite”

This Duran Duran music video is history in the making – reuniting some of the world’s hottest supermodels almost 20 years since they appeared in George Michael’s Freedom ’90 video – which was an international mega hit.
