MODTV Fashion Video Podcast has been named one of British Vogue’s Best Podcasts of 2017.  British Vogue’s editors picked their Top 20 Podcasts for 2017 and selected MODTV Fashion Podcast and several of their “essential” shows including Serial, This American Life, Startup and The New Yorker Radio Hour.

Each episode goes behind the scenes with the world’s top models, fashion designers, photographers and backstage beauty hair and makeup pros including Chanel, Alexander Wang and Balmain. Allure Backstage: Best of the Web Nominee

MODTV’s production, Allure Backstage, hosted by Allure Beauty Editor Victoria Kirby, has been nominated for a MIN (Media Industry Newsletter) Best of the Web Award, the publishing industry’s top honor in the digital space, recognizing outstanding Web sites and digital initiatives among consumer and b2b media companies.

Allure Backstage is nominated in the Video: Magazine Branded Show Category. The segments were shot backstage in New York, Milan and Paris during Spring and Fall 2009 fashion week. Executive Produced & Directed by Karen Morrison, the 3 minute segments were shot and edited overnight on location and and streamed on Allure.Com within 24 hours of each fashion show.

The MIN Best of the Web Awards will be announced at on April 24th at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. It’s an honor just to be nominated and we want to thank everyone on the MODTV team who helped make the Allure Backstage series a success, especially Cameraman Sebastien Goyer and Associate Producer & Editor Giovanni Sicignano.
