Allure Backstage Spring 2008 makeup trends – Matte Pink Lips. It’s one of the most feminine looks of the Spring 2008 season. Makeup artists swapped the pink glosses of the past for cool toned pink lipsticks. And whether the lipstick was cool or vibrant it gave off a real hint of attitude.
The lipstick at Burberry was this great, really pale colour and it took the whole vibrancy of the natural lip color down a bit and so it made her look a little tougher than she ordinarily does. As Burberry Beauty Creative Consultant Wendy Rowe explained backstage – “she’s a luxurious warrior, it’s an easy look – she’s got a bit of an attitude, she’s a little bit tougher – she knows what she wants and she is going to go and get it”.
