Burberry fashion designer Christopher Bailey is at the forefront of digital fashion, and his latest “Burberry World Live“, a 360 immersive fashion experience, began in Taipei on 26 April 2012.

Bailey designed a custom cylindrical space that brought to life the Burberry worlds of British Heritage, Fashion, Music and Weather to celebrate the opening of the Burberry Taiwan flagship store at Taipei 101.

Could Burberry World Live could be the future of fashion?  There are no models strutting down a fashion runway – instead it combines an eight part 360 degree film, a live musical performance and digital weather experience.  It’s stunning, gorgeous and very cool to watch.

Burberry World Live will tour cities globally including London, Hong Kong and Chicago later this year.

This multi-sensory experience is the first to blur the physical and digital dimensions of the brand. Watch the Burberry World Live fashion video here now.

The Burberry man for Spring|Summer 2011 is a modern “road warrior” with a rock and roll edge. Burberry streamed the fashion show live from Milan earlier today on their website.

While there were plenty of classic military inspired looks, the pieces that really stood out are biker inspired : tailored leather pants, motorcycle jackets, and the vests with studs that looked like armor. The show was strong, confident and one of designer Christopher Bailey’s best for the British house.

Backstage after the show Christopher Bailey said the show’s biker looks were inspired by a book of proto-greaser designs by Thomas Burberry. It’s a hot collection and it’s sure to be a real hit. You can pre-order the Collection until June 26th on Burberry’s website. Here is the full length video of the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2011 Collection.
