Burberry’s new spring 2011 advertising campaign is out. Shot by photographer Mario Testino the new campaign features British models Cara Delevingne and Jacob Young rolling about on a beach of pebbles. These are the first of several spring ads that will be released between now and May.

One of the most influential fashion bloggers of our time Scott Schuman, aka, The Sartorialist reaches over 70,000 readers a day. This film (sponsored by Intel) gives a revealing look at Schuman’s view of fashion, photography and blogging. Schuman explains growing up he never dreamed about being a photographer, and that the way he shoots is very “instinctual”. He explains “the internet is the world shrinking.. and it’s given us a digital parkbench”. This film was directed by Tyler Manson.

Rosie recently shot May 2010 cover for British GQ with photographer Ellen Von Unwerth and she is about to be seen in the new Burberry Beauty campaign that launches this week worldwide.

Rosie is 23, from Plymouth, Devon, England and is best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret. Elle Magazine’s 2009 Model of the Year has shot campaigns with Ralph Lauren, DKNY, and Clinique, and in July will appear in the new Burberry Beauty campaign shot by Mario Testino. The new Burberry Beauty range launches this month in Nordstrom in the US and at Harrod’s in London and will also be available on Burberry.Com.
As if Rosie’s career couldn’t get any hotter, in late May Director Michael Bay confirmed that Rosie has been cast in the new Transformers 3 Movie, set to shoot in Chicago this summer and will be released next July 2011. Since leaving his job as Creative Director of Nina Ricci in Fall 2009 designer Olivier Theyskens has been working on a new book called “The Other Side of the Picture“. Published by Assouline, Theyskens collaborated on the book with photographer Julien Claessens who captured him in action backstage over the last fifteen years. Assouline has released a video which gives a revealing at look at how Theyskens and Classens approached the book project. Theyksens new photography book “The Other Side of the Picture” will be released during New York fashion week on February 12th.
At 33, Olivier Theyskens has been called one of the greatest designers of his generation. He was named CFDA’s international designer of the year in 2006, and has dressed some of Hollywood’s most stunning stars from Madonna to Jennifer Aniston.
Over the last decade MODTV has filmed backstage and reported on many of Olivier Theysken’s collections for both Rochas and Nina Ricci. But in 2006 we were granted exclusive access while he prepared on one of his collections for Rochas. It’s a rare look at Olivier in action.
