Get a first look at the Victoria Beckham fashion documentary, titled Five Years: The Victoria Beckham Fashion Story. In the film Beckham opens up about her journey. “I’ve always loved fashion and I was that kid who used to watch my mom get ready and just think ‘Wow, you look amazing,’” she says in the voiceover, adding, “I always dreamed of designing my own collection. It was always my passion.”

In the film the former Spice Girl gives a rare glimpse into her life and talks about breaking boundaries, ““I was a Spice Girl married to a footballer. I was trying to do something that no one had really done before.”

The documentary is a partnership with Skype, a tool that has become an integral part of the Beckham’s design process. “Most evenings I’m curled up in front of Skype speaking with my studio in London,” she shares. “But I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Watch a sneak preview of Carine Roitfeld Documentary ‘Mademoiselle C’. Carine Roitfield’s highly anticipated new bi-annual fashion magazine CR will be the subject of a fly-on-the-wall fashion documentary, “Mademoiselle C“.  Director Fabien Constant has been granted unprecedented access to Roitfeld’s private and professional life.

Confirmed interviews include Tom Ford, Karl Lagerfeld and Donatella Versace and a host of other stars and fashion world personalities are expected to crop up too.  Shooting has already begun and the film is being distributed by Elle Driver in Paris. The documentary will be previewed at the Cannes Film Festival this week according to Screen Daily.

Director Fabien Constant recently captured Carine Roitfeld for this short for W Magazine called “The Client” – the 12 minute short gives a revealing insight to the kind of fun film we can expect.

Anna Wintour Revealed” the documentary profile of Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour by Bloomberg TV was released online and you can watch the full length film here on MODTV. The film is part of the Bloomberg Game Changers series.

Wintour declined to participate in the filming, but the revealing 30 minute fashion film gives a great history of Anna’s career and her impact on the world of fashion.  The film includes interviews with RJ Cutler, director of The September Issue, Tom Florio former publishing director of Vogue; Chuck Townsend, chief executive officer of Conde Nast Publications Inc.; fashion designer Vera Wang; Ed Nardoza, editor-in-chief of Women’s Wear Daily; Emily Rafferty, president of the Metropolitan Museum of Art; and Patrick Robinson, executive vice president of global design at Gap Inc.

“Bill Cunningham New York”, the documentary film about the on the New York Times’ intrepid street photographer Bill Cunningham hits the silver screen in March 16th and is already getting alot of buzz. The film, directed by Richard Press looks like it’s going to be the fashion film of the year.

“We all get dressed for Bill,” says Vogue Editor Anna Wintour. The “Bill” in question is 80+ New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham. For decades, this Schwinn-riding cultural anthropologist has been obsessively and inventively chronicling fashion trends and high society charity soirées for the Times Style section in his columns “On the Street” and “Evening Hours.”
