Tom Ford Spring 2016 Fashion Video ft Lady Gaga

TOM FORD is one of our favorite fashion designers on the planet and we have to confess we are obsessed with what ever Tom does.  We can’t stop watching the fashion film he produced for the Tom Ford Spring 2016 Collection featuring Lady Gaga.

It features some of our favorite top models Mica Arga, Lexi Bolling, Kayla Scott, Xaio Wen Ju, Valery Kaufman, Aymeline Valade, Lida Fox, Lucky Blue Smith, Alex Dunstan, David Agbodji and Tarun Nijjer.

Lady Gaga appears and models in the film, a runway video of the collection, which was directed by Nick Knight. In the video, Gaga also sings a cover of I Want Your Love.

“I Want Your Love” produced by Nile Rodgers the track is a Gagalicious cover of the original with the same name performed by Chic, which appeared on their 1978 album, “C’est Chic“.

The film is brilliant and we of course love the beauty look – makeup by Stephane Marais, hair by Sam McKnight.

Lana Del Rey H&M Ad Campaign ‘Blue Velvet’

Lana Del Rey stars in new H&M Ad Campaign for Fall 2012 singing her track “Blue Velvet”.  The commercial was directed by Johan Renck and it has a strange, haunting, David Lynch mood about it.

Lana Del Rey is 26, but her real name is Elizabeth “Lizzy” Woolridge Grant.  She began performing in clubs in New York City at age 18, and signed her first recording contract when she was just 21 years old.  Since the release of her single Video Games in 2011 she’s become an overnight star and a fashion icon.  Her 60’s retro look was the inspiration for Milan Designers Dean and Dan Caten’s DSquared2 Fall 2012 Collection, and the latest Spring 2013 runways were full of that 60’s vibe.

In this H&M Fall Winter 2012 campaign video Lana Del Rey sings her latest track Blue Velvet, which you can buy at iTunes. The song is from her upcoming album  Born to Die – The Paradise Edition which is set for release November 13, 2012. Abbey Lee Kershaw debuts her new Rock Band

Abbey Lee Kershaw’s new band Our Mountain made their debut in London last week. The band is fronted by her boyfriend Matthew Hutchinson, who is also a model and is signed to Next Model Management. Their debut single ‘Wooden Hearts’ is out now and their debut album is soon to be released. Abbey Lee Kershaw Our Mountain Abbey Lee, the face of Gucci’s ‘Flora’ fragrance, Tom Ford and Versace – joined the band in January, along with bassist Daniel Silvester Taylor- Lind, adding vocals, tambourine and keys to the sound. Although Abbey Lee is usually known as a fixture on the runways of Milan, Paris and New York, she told the London Telegraph that she feels more at home with the band and on stage performing. “Playing music I become a different person. I think with modelling my job is to be a blank canvas, but with music i don’t feel that way. It’s just me and i’m expressing what i’m feeling at that time.” The London Telegraph caught up with them in London and shot this exclusive behind the scenes video.
