Malaika walked in 56 of the top Spring 2014 fashion runway shows including Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Anthony Vaccarello, Marni, Prada and Lanvin. It was impossible not to notice her grace, confidence and beauty on the runway.
Malaika is the 19 year old British model who has been hailed as “the next Naomi Campbell”. She was born in Kenya, and moved to London when she was just 7 years old. Her parents are from a mix of cultures – British, Ungandan, Swiss, Seychelles and Kenyan. Malaika is proud of her diverse heritage, “I have this mix in me and I’m so proud to be a mixed race. I think alot of mix race girls out there are insecure about their color and they should be proud and happy that they are both.”
