Anna Wintour Revealed” the documentary profile of Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour by Bloomberg TV was released online and you can watch the full length film here on MODTV. The film is part of the Bloomberg Game Changers series.

Wintour declined to participate in the filming, but the revealing 30 minute fashion film gives a great history of Anna’s career and her impact on the world of fashion.  The film includes interviews with RJ Cutler, director of The September Issue, Tom Florio former publishing director of Vogue; Chuck Townsend, chief executive officer of Conde Nast Publications Inc.; fashion designer Vera Wang; Ed Nardoza, editor-in-chief of Women’s Wear Daily; Emily Rafferty, president of the Metropolitan Museum of Art; and Patrick Robinson, executive vice president of global design at Gap Inc.

“Bill Cunningham New York”, the documentary film about the on the New York Times’ intrepid street photographer Bill Cunningham hits the silver screen in March 16th and is already getting alot of buzz. The film, directed by Richard Press looks like it’s going to be the fashion film of the year.

“We all get dressed for Bill,” says Vogue Editor Anna Wintour. The “Bill” in question is 80+ New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham. For decades, this Schwinn-riding cultural anthropologist has been obsessively and inventively chronicling fashion trends and high society charity soirées for the Times Style section in his columns “On the Street” and “Evening Hours.”

Anna-Wintour-Grace-Coddington-Dolls

Now you can bid on Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington dolls. In celebration of Fashion’s Night Out, Barneys New York commissioned Brooklyn artist Andrew Yang to create one-of-a-kind, hand-painted doll versions of Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour and Creative Director Grace Coddington.

They took two weeks to make: “I had to special-order Anna’s wig and cut it myself to get the bob right. And Grace’s hair was the right color, but it needed a perm,” Yang says. The dolls will be auctioned off on charitybuzz.com beginning August 31, with the proceeds benefiting The New York City Aids Fund. [Fashionologie] via [The Moment]

Designer Karl Lagerfeld is always thinking about the future, and admits that many of his ideas for collections often come to him in dreams. This is also the reason he sleeps at night with a white paper sketch pad beside him – “..other people people sleep with other people, I sleep with paper…..”

For his Chanel Spring 2010 Couture Collection, Lagerfeld dreamt about baroque elements, pastel colors and neon lights. It’s a stunning collection full of lightness, fantasy and shimmering silver.
