Go backstage at Alexander Wang Fall 2015 with top models Kendall Jenner, Binx Walton, Behati Prinsloo, Bhumika Arora and Katlin Aas.  Backstage all the models were loving the tough goth-inspired look, as Katlin Aas told me just moments before the show,

“She’s a strong independent woman, isn’t that what every woman wants to be?”

“It’s all about raw beauty” at Alexander Wang Spring 2014. Go backstage at Alexander Wang Spring 2014 with top models Georgia May Jagger, Jourdan Dunn, Erin Wasson and Josephine Skriver and find out how Guido Palau and Diane Kendal created the sexy, raw beauty look for the show.

This was top model Georgia May Jagger’s first New York Fashion Week runway show and Alexander Wang said he cast her because not only is she a friend, but because she perfectly captures that “sexy bombshell’ look he was going for this season.  Makeup artist Diane Kendal kept the makeup minimal and Guido Palau added extensions giving the models sexy, full thick hair.

Alexander Wang Fall 2013 Backstage Beauty

Top models  Aymeline Valade and Kasia Struss take us backstage at Alexander Wang Fall 2013 show at New York Fashion Week.  The Wang girl is a futurist who likes to make a strong statement, especially when it comes to her beauty look.   Hair stylist Guido Palau did “ponytails with a difference ” by adding cognac extensions in the models hair to achieve “this idea of cloning”.  Guido slicked back the hair using Redken Hardware Super Strong Gel No 16 and used Diamond Oil to give it shine.

Diane Kendal kept the focus on the eyes using NARS Eye Shadow in Lhasa from crease to lid and used a black eyeliner to give the eyes more definition.  To finish the look all the models had sandstone inspired nail art by CND Nails. As Jan Arnold explained to us backstage “it’s an androgynous looking nail – we’re calling it enigma”.

Britt shot to fame last September opening the Alexander Wang Spring 2011 show in New York and starred in every major Spring collectionincluding Michael Kors, Balmain and Lanvin and made major news when she cropped her hair short and went platinum blonde for Balenciaga. We spoke to Britt backstage at Alexander Wang last night just before the show and asked her about her latest transformation.
