Sumptuous and pretty. Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2012 collection perfectly captures the soft, romantic look of the season.  Designer Marc Jacobs is so inspiring and he knows how to create the "wow" factor by staging shows that are full of fantasy and great fashion.

The models a the Louis Vuitton show looked like fairy tale princesses as they sat on the white carrousel in their embellished sorbet colored dresses.  The show was beautiful and just out of this world.  It's Marc Jacobs love of beauty and fashion that really comes through at every Vuitton collection he creates.

As Marc explained to me backstage after the show, "I love fashion so much, we don't do this because we have to - we do this out of love - it's not for a paycheck - it's done from a place of passion.  Nobody needs fashion - it's a luxury.  Nobody needs fashion, they want fashion - it sort of pulls at your heart when it works".

Go backstage at Missoni Spring Summer 2012 with designer Angela Missoni and get the look of this sexy, colorful Mediterranean inspired collection. "It's alot of fun - we're back to sexy", Margherita Missoni told me backstage before the show.

The models were supposed to look like they had been dancing all night, so artist Lucia Pieroni used Mac highlighter to give the models that sexy glow. Really big bushy eye brows and a nude lip with a little bit of shine finished the look - the result was gorgeous. Hair stylist Eugene Souleiman used several styling products by Wella to give the models a three day old "dirty, sexy look". "This is not a pristine woman, this is a woman who lives," Eugene explained backstage.

Watch Prabal Gurung Spring Summer 2012 fashion show. Nicki Minaj wasn't the only one blown away by Prabal Gurung's sexy Spring Summer 2012 Collection in New York. We agree - this was one powerful fashion show. As Prabal explained to me backstage "It's sexy, tough, confident and at the same time sensual".

Prabal Gurung's collection is exploding with color and the show was inspired by Nobuyoshi Araki sensual flowers series which Prabal incorporated into all those gorgeous prints. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury said Prabal wanted the women to feel powerful and intoxicating which is why she drenched the models lips in five layers of pink, "it's like a burst of a flower".

In Paris we get an exclusive look backstage at John Galliano Spring 2012 with makeup artist Pat McGrath, hairstylist Orlando Pita and top models Karlie Kloss, Miranda Kerr and Constance Jablonski. The beauty look was inspired by silent movie star Mary Pickford, so Pat used sepia blush on the cheeks and paled out the model's skin with a light foundation to make the girls look "sweet and innocent".

This was a confident first collection for Galliano's new Creative Director Bill Gaytten, and he stayed true to the brand's feminine aesthetic. Gaytten worked along side John Galliano for over 23 years, so he knows how the Galliano girl wants to look and feel. Backstage at DSquared2 Spring Summer 2012 it was fashion meets rock and roll; the inspiration of their fashion show - the Glastonbury Music Festival. Designers Dean and Dan Caten know how to create an unforgettable experience and for Spring Summer 2012 they brought the Glastonbury festival experience to life from the music to the muddy runway. As all the top models told us backstage - this is definitely the hottest fashion show of Milan Fashion week.

Dean and Dan confess they were inspired by every glam rock chic from Kate Moss to Beyonce for their DSquared2 Spring Summer 2012 collection. MAC Makeup aritst Charlotte Tilbury layered on the eye glitter and hair stylist Sam McKnight used Pantene Aqua Light leave in conditioner to give that "two day old slept in look", and to make sure every model looked individual and cool.

The show was a mix of pale color, bold color and psychedelic prints that were inspired by eighteenth-century wallpaper.  Cle du Peau Beaute makeup artist Lucia Pieroni and hair stylist Orlando Pita to see how they created the magical look for the show. In Milan we head backstage at Marni Spring 2012 with top model Arizona Muse to check out the chic but twisted lady like beauty look makeup artist Tom Pecheux, hair stylist Paul Hanlon created for the show. Go backstage at Fendi Spring 2012 with designer Karl Lagerfeld, Lady Amanda Harlech and top models Abbey Lee Kershaw and Arizona Muse and makeup artist Peter Philips.

Fendi's Spring 2012 collection was inspired in part by Italian neurologist Rita Levi-Montalcini who won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1986.  She's a mathematician, a woman who loves luxury - she's perfect, but real.

The beauty look makeup artist Peter Philips created was luxurious - he used real gold and silver leaf on the models eyes to make them shine through the oversized sunglasses giving it an overall effect of extreme luxury. As Karl Lagerfeld explained to us backstage after the show .." You have the instant feeling of refined work and quality that only Fendi can do....only this can be done in Italy..."

Designer Frida Giannini opens Milan Fashion Week with a shimmering art deco inspired Gucci Spring 2012 Collection that was full of 20's silhouettes and masculine tailoring. The beauty look that Pat McGrath and hairstylist Luigi Murenu created was tough and strong and gave the models a sexy hard edge. Designer Marc Jacobs closed New York Spring 2012 Fashion Week with a collection that was enchanting and dazzling.  The gorgeous set at the Lexington Armory was designed to look like 40s style American dance hall, complete with wooden planks on the runway.  With the Philip Glass opera "Einstein on the Beach" as the soundtrack, the gold curtains parted to reveal 48 models each frozen in a Bob Fosse attitude setting the mood for the "All that Jazz" dance inspired show.

The Marc Jacobs Spring 2012 show was full of beautiful dresses made from techno fabrics that gave the collection a futuristic feel.   The beauty look makeup artist Francois Nars created was simple but sexy, the long lashes and pale lips had a 60's feel and was inspired in part by singer Amy Winehouse. After the show we went backstage and caught up with of our favorite top models Ginta Lapina and she told us what it was like to be a part of this magical show.
