“Bill Cunningham New York”, the documentary film about the on the New York Times’ intrepid street photographer Bill Cunningham hits the silver screen in March 16th and is already getting alot of buzz. The film, directed by Richard Press looks like it’s going to be the fashion film of the year.

“We all get dressed for Bill,” says Vogue Editor Anna Wintour. The “Bill” in question is 80+ New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham. For decades, this Schwinn-riding cultural anthropologist has been obsessively and inventively chronicling fashion trends and high society charity soirées for the Times Style section in his columns “On the Street” and “Evening Hours.”
