Alexander McQueen liked blowing people’s minds. His fashion shows were a cinematic visual feast, an explosion of beauty and fashion, technology and art. We were one of the only crews allowed backstage at his last show in Paris in October 6, 2009.  The show called Plato’s Atlantis was inspired by Darwin’s theory of evolution and the show was streamed live on Nick Knight’s Showstudio.com. His final Paris fashion show for Spring 2010 really captures everything that Alexander McQueen was about.  He was a fearless visionary who wasn’t afraid to take risks, and knew that looking forward to the future is what fashion is really all about. Alexander Lee McQueen died tragically on Thursday, February 11, 2010. The world of fashion will never be the same without him.
