There is probably no other designer in the world who perfectly captures the mood of the season than Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz. For Lanvin Fall 2010 Collection that meant projecting an image of femininity and strength. Hairstylist Guido Palau’s iconic, manga inspired black wigs and Pat McGrath’s dark smouldering eyes gave the models a uniform sensual look.

Everything about this show was exotic, intoxicating and beautiful. Alber Elbaz told us he was making a statement about individuality, about women around the world all looking the same.  He was posing the question,  “Do you like what you see when everyone has the same look?”.

Reported and directed by Karen Morrison.  Cameraman: Giovanni Sicignano.  A production of MODTV Fashion Video Network.

Alber is brilliant! I like his statement about life, individuality, personality, being overweight and having non-standard/non-glamour model look – so true and so right. .. He, himself represents life and ingenious individuality – bravo maestro!

I really love the message that alber is portraying and I totally agree with him…without individuality, the world will not only be scary but also boring… It’s like the essence of life is not present anymore…
