Michael Kors Fall Winter 2013 Collection is sexy, athletic and chic. As Michael explained backstage just moments before his show at New York Fashion week, “If you live an urban life it’s like being an athlete – life is fast and it’s all about movement. I really wanted to combine the quintessential uptown polish of NY, Paris and London and merge that with this athleticism, because why not have it all“.

The beauty look of Michael Kors Fall 2013 was inspired by the modern, graphic mood of the collection. Dick Page used a golden champagne eye shadow from the limited-edition Shiseido Eye Color Bar palette (which comes out this Fall) along the models’ cheekbones for a fresh glow, and to showcase the dramatic eye. The lip was a mix of the same pink cream shadow and Shiseido Perfect Rouge Lipstick in Fantasia. The high ponytail that Orlando Pita gave the models was 50′s meets 90′s – he wrapped latex around the base to give the sleek, bouncy ponytails an edge of sexiness.

Victoria Secret 2012. Get the sexy supermodel beauty look of Victoria’s Secret 2012 and go backstage at the world’s biggest runway show with top models Barbara Palvin, Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevingne.

The beauty look of the Victoria’s Secret 2012 show is modern, fresh and very sexy. The VS glam team, makeup artist Tom Pecheux and hair stylist Orlando Pita are two of the world’s hottest beauty pros and they are bringing more of a fashion edge to the show. Orlando Pita piled on the extensions and gave the models sexy tousled waves using Victoria’s Secret Volume Mousse and a large barrel curling iron. As Orlando explained “ it’s going to be shiny with very luxurious waves and still have that glamour edge“.

Tom Pecheux decided to ditch the bronzer this time and gave the models a fresh, healthy look using the VS Makeup collection. The focus was on the eyes – he used a black liner and lots of mascara added some false lashes to give more a cat eye shape. The result is ‘super sexy‘ and a look that all the models adore. Go backstage at Vera Wang’s celebrity packed Spring 2012 fashion show with Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian in New York. Vera Wang told us she was inspired by the magic and fantasy of Alice in Wonderland when designing her Spring 2012 Collection.

The show was a mix of pale color, bold color and psychedelic prints that were inspired by eighteenth-century wallpaper. John Galliano Spring 2012 Backstage

In Paris we get an exclusive look backstage at John Galliano Spring 2012 with makeup artist Pat McGrath, hairstylist Orlando Pita and top models Karlie Kloss, Miranda Kerr and Constance Jablonski. The beauty look was inspired by silent movie star Mary Pickford, so Pat used sepia blush on the cheeks and paled out the models skin with light foundation to make the girls look “sweet and innocent“.

This was a confident first collection for Galliano’s new Creative Director Bill Gaytten, and he stayed true to the brand’s feminine aesthetic. Gaytten worked along side John Galliano for over 23 years, so he knows how the Galliano girl wants to look and feel. Top models Ginta Lapina and Jac take us backstage at Giambattista Valli Spring Summer 2012 fashion show in Paris. “I love the reality of women” Valli explained to me after the show – “it’s all about natural beauty”.

Giambattista Valli’s Spring Summer 2012 Collection was inspired by a mix of memories, cultures and an idea about a nomadic woman. “This woman is a traveller” explained Orlando Pita backstage, “there is a beach texture in the back, but we slicked it down on the front with gel, because the hair had to also look like she was coming out of the water”.

The makeup look Val Garland created was a healthy, athletic, androgynous girl. It’s all about a brushed up groomed eyebrow, a reflective color on the lid and lip balm on the lips”. As Giambattista explained, “if you feel beautiful, you don’t even need a hair do, that is the feeling”.
