The collection is full of animal prints, earth toned colors and as Michael explained “..the kind of textures and colors you would find in Africa done with a streamlined modern hand“. Nyasha Matonhodze, a Zimbabwean-born, British-raised 16-year-old model, has been chosen as one of the new faces of Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2011 Ad Campaign. Nyasha entered the modelling world just two years ago after winning the UK Elite Model Look competition in 2009 and is represented by Elite Models in London. Joining Nyasha Matonhodze in the campaign are Zuzanna Bijoch, 17, Daphne Groenveld, 16, Gertrud Hegelund, 20 and Fei Fei Sun, 21. The campaign was photographed by Steven Meisel. “Who wouldn’t want to be this gorgeous young woman in the back seat of this beautiful car?” asks Marc Jacobs, Vuitton’s artistic director, highlighting the tongue-in-cheek take on the French brand’s familiar travel theme.

Steven Meisel shot the campaign, with styling by Karl Templer, makeup by Pat McGrath and hair by Guido Palau. It is slated to break in August issues. Source WWD.
