Designer Karl Lagerfeld is always thinking about the future, and admits that many of his ideas for collections often come to him in dreams. This is also the reason he sleeps at night with a white paper sketch pad beside him – “..other people people sleep with other people, I sleep with paper…..”

For his Chanel Spring 2010 Couture Collection, Lagerfeld dreamt about baroque elements, pastel colors and neon lights. It’s a stunning collection full of lightness, fantasy and shimmering silver. Hilary Alexander the Fashion Director of the London Telegraph was there and filed this video report.
