DSquared2 designers Dean and Dan Caten were inspired by the 90′s supermodel Linda Evangelista and photographs by Peter Lindbergh shot in 1991. As Cara Delevingne told us backstage before opening the show working with Dean and Dan is a dream, ’”It’s just about being sexy – they always want alot of energy, and they just give it and your bring it – it’s real team work“.

The beauty look created by makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury and hair stylist Sam McKnight perfectly captured the look of supermodel 90′s glamour. As Charlotte explained backstage the DSquared2 Spring 2013 makeup look, “is very Peter Lindbergh 90′s – it’s an almond smoky eye with a strong arched brow, contoured face with Mac Spice Lip Liner and Fleshpot Beige lips“. Sam wanted the hair to look modern so he made it shiny and super straight. The result was stunning – the girls looked sexy, cool and superhot.

DSquared2 to Design Beyoncé Tour Costumes

DSquared2 is designing the costumes for Beyoncé upcoming world tour. According to WWD, Beyoncé called on DSquared2 designers Dean and Dan Caten to create her looks for her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, which kicks off Monday, April 15th in Belgrade.

Beyonce Mrs Carter Show World Tour hits cities from Zagreb to Manchester and Oklahoma City to Brooklyn on Aug. 5 — Knowles will be seen in outfits the DSquared2 designers created especially for her.

While the finer details of the designs are being kept firmly under wraps for now, British Vogue said that a spokesperson for the Dsquared2 confirmed that a “show-stopper of an outfit” will be in keeping with the – influenced by supermodels of the Nineties.

“Beyonce chooses to wear a unique outfit created exclusively for her by Dean and Dan Caten, inspired by an item from the 2013 spring/summer Glamazon catwalk show,” they confirmed.

Lana Del Rey stars in new H&M Ad Campaign for Fall 2012 singing her track “Blue Velvet”. The commercial was directed by Johan Renck and it has a strange, haunting, David Lynch mood about it.

Lana Del Rey is 26, but her real name is Elizabeth “Lizzy” Woolridge Grant. She began performing in clubs in New York City at age 18, and signed her first recording contract when she was just 21 years old. Since the release of her single Video Games in 2011 she’s become an overnight star and a fashion icon. Her 60′s retro look was the inspiration for Milan Designers Dean and Dan Caten’s DSquared2 Fall 2012 Collection, and the latest Spring 2013 runways were full of that 60′s vibe.

In this H&M Fall Winter 2012 campaign video Lana Del Rey sings her latest track Blue Velvet, which you can buy at iTunes. The song is from her upcoming album Born to Die – The Paradise Edition which is set for release November 13, 2012. Get the gorgeous beauty look that makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury and hairstylist Sam McKnight created for the DSquared2 Fall 2012 collection that was inspired by the 60′s and the icon of today, Lana Del Rey. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury gave the girls a gorgeous supermodel brow, and used thick black liner to create a wing. She poured on the mascara and added two layers of lashes. Charlotte finished off the look using MAC Spice Lip liner and FleshPot lipstick to give the girls that sexy Lana del Rey pout. “It’s all about the feline eye, the pouty lip and the lash“.

DSquared2 fashion shows are always one of the best shows of Milan Fashion Week. Dean & Dan always stage a show that is entertaining and full of beautiful clothes that you actually want to own and wear. The concept behind their Fall 2012 fashion show is a 60′s ‘Back to School’ high school prom. As the boys told us backstage, “these are rich kids with a bad attitude“.
