Watch the full length film of the Making of the Pirelli Calendar 2011 shot by photographer Karl Lagerfeld. “Mythology” is the theme of the calendar as Lagerfeld was inspired by Greek mythology and cast his models as gods and goddesses. As Daria Werbowy admits in the film “..you have to be a warrior to be a model..and we are kind of like unearthly human beings“.
The 2011 Pirelli Calendar was shot at Lagerfeld’s studio in Paris and features supermodels Daria Werbowy, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Ana Rubik, Erin Wasson, Isabeli Fontana, Lara Stone, Magdalena Frackowiak, Brad Kroenig, Baptiste Giabiconi, Heidi Mount, Elisa Sednoui, Freja Beha, Iris Strubegger, Jack Davies, Bianca Balti, Garrett Neff, Jeneil Williams, Natasha Poly and Lakshmi Menon.
