Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is nearly nude in the new campaign for the new fragrance Burberry Body, photographed by Mario Testino. The 24-year-old supermodel’s career is on fire and is currently the star of international blockbuster summer movie ‘Transformers 3.’

Burberry Menswear Spring 2012 Fashion Show

Milan Fashion Week: For Burberry Spring 2012 Designer Christopher Bailey decided to focus on arts and crafts. The Spring 2012 Collection is a real departure for Bailey, it had a real ethnic influence – he showed plenty of sweaters with crocheting, stitching, embroidery and handblock prints.

With this collection Bailey seemed to be turning his focus back on design, instead of the immediacy of selling the collection on the internet. Burberry has been at the forefront of the digital revolution that has swept designer fashion, live streaming its shows globally with almost 7 million fans on its Facebook Page.

“I wanted to celebrate the idea of craftsmanship. I love the whole digitalization of the world. But I don’t think one has to be at the expense of the other,” Bailey said backstage to Associated Press after Saturday’s preview.

There was a slight nod to technology in the show the models in the finale carried alligator iPad sleeves. But this season Burberry’s native Scotland, too, had its due. Most of the outfits were topped with a hand-crocheted raffia golfing hat, complete with a pompon. Shoes were cork soled-moccasins or easy loafers at times contrasted with woven tapestry. Burberry Fall 2011 Campaign by Mario Testino

Burberry’s Fall 2011 Ad Campaign features British models Cara Delevingne, Amber Anderson, Johnny George and Jake Cooper. Mario Testino photographed the campaign in London with Burberry Creative Director Christopher Bailey.

As Bailey explains ”..I was inspired by iconic British portraits and our own archive campaigns from the late 1960s of Jean Shrimpton using her trench coat to shelter herself from the poetic and romantic British weather. We wanted to create a group of portraits celebrating British actors, musicians and models.”

Burberry is planning another livestream fashion event – this time in Beijing, China. Proving both their intuitive understanding of where digital technology and fashion and music meet, not to mention the rise of China as a global fashion power, Burberry the iconic British luxury brand will host a live-stream of their “celebration of China” April 13th at 13:30 London time.
