There is probably no other designer in the world who perfectly captures the mood of the season than Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz. For Fall 2010 that meant projecting an image of femininity and strength. Hairstylist Guido Palau’s iconic black wigs and Pat McGrath’s dark smouldering eyes gave the models a uniform sensual look.

Everything about this show was exotic, intoxicating and beautiful. Alber Elbaz told us he was making a statement about individuality, about women around the world all looking the same. He was posing the question, “Do you like what you see when everyone has the same look?”.

It’s Official, Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz Designing Collection for H&M

It’s official, this morning H&M announced that Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz is creating a capsule collection for H&M. The collection will be in stores on November 23rd worldwide. Save the date!

In a new twist, the Lanvin for H&M collection will be revealed to the world through a special film which will be launched on November 2. The film will be available for all to see online at www.hm.com. Following the film’s debut, it will be just three weeks before customers have the chance to get their hands on a covetable piece of Lanvin for H&M.

Lanvin Designer Alber Elbaz Collaborates with H&M

Lanvin Designer Alber Elbaz is said to be the next designer to collaborate with retail giant H&M. WWD is reporting that Swedish retailer will make the official announcement about the project in the next few days.

H&M has released a series of videos teasing their upcoming designer collaboration. The videos invite you to guess who the next designer is, but they are full of unmistakable Elbaz-isms. The big reveal will be made on September 9th. We can’t wait!
