Abbey Lee Kershaw talks to us about her band Our Mountain’s new song ‘Devils Banquet’ and their new campaign film introducing the Pierre Balmain 2012 Collection. Directed by Inez and Vinoodh, the film features pieces from the Pierre Balmain women’s and men’s collection worn by top model Abbey Lee and her boyfriend, Our Mountain front man Matthew Hutchinson.
The new Pierre Balmain diffusion line includes both menswear and womenswear, featuring everything from t-shirts and jeans to suits and evening wear and will be sold in over 700 stores across the globe. Supermodel Cindy Crawford‘s 10-year-old daugher Kaia (dad is Rande Gerber) has just been announced as the new face of Young Versace. The campaign was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot and the Young Versace line will debut during Pitti Immagine Bimbo in Florence tomorrow. The collection is geared toward kids 0 – 12.
Kaia’s Mom Cindy Crawford was a muse of Gianni Versace, and appeared in many campaigns for the house in the 90′s, so it has to be an exciting moment for everyone involved that Kaia is taking up the Versace mantle now. “Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift,” Donatella Versace said in a press release. “The camera really, really loves her. Having Cindy on-set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother’s footsteps!”
Cindy returned the love, saying, “I’m so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace Campaign. I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella. There is something so very special about the House of Versace. Being on-set with my daughter watching her in front of the camera was a fantastic experience. I am so proud of her.”

Gisele Bundchen stars in the gorgeous new Salvatore Ferragamo Spring Summer 2012 Ad Campaign with top model Noah Mills. Shot on location at the luxurious Golden Eye Resort in Jamaica by photographer Mikael Jansson, the concept of the campaign is “a vision of a tropical paradise where a man and woman glow in absolute perfection“.
Ferragamo designer Massimiliano Giornetti said that he had doubt about who to feature in this campaign, “Gisele is the ideal woman to embody this Spring-Summer collection: extraordinary beauty, naturally sophisticated at the same time. Roberto Cavalli ad campaign for Spring/Summer 2012 features four iconic models – Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson, Kristen McMenamy and Daphne Groeneveld.
Steven Meisel shot the campaign at Pier 59 studios in New York, in a simple backdrop that kept the focus on the printed silk dresses and the hand embroidered glittering pieces that look more like couture than ready to wear.
The inspiration behind all that decadent gold? As Creative Director Eva Cavalli explained to us backstage at the Roberto Cavalli Spring 2012 Fashion Show in Milan, the collection is about optimism – ”we wanted to make shine this world that sometimes very dark“.

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2012 Ad Campaign features British actor Eddie Redmayne and model Cara Delevingne. Burberry Creative Director Christopher Bailey and photographer Mario Testino once again have created a campaign that is aspirational, fresh and beautifully captures the spirit and heritage of the British brand.
