Go backstage at Fendi Spring 2012 with designer Karl Lagerfeld, Lady Amanda Harlech and top models Abbey Lee Kershaw and Arizona Muse and makeup artist Peter Philips.

Fendi’s Spring 2012 collection was inspired in part by Italian neurologist Rita Levi-Montalcini who won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1986.  She’s a mathematician, a woman who loves luxury – she’s perfect, but real.

The beauty look makeup artist Peter Philips created was luxurious – he used real gold and silver leaf on the models eyes to make them shine through the oversized sunglasses giving it an overall effect of extreme luxury. As Karl Lagerfeld explained to us backstage after the show ..” You have the instant feeling of refined work and quality that only Fendi can do….only this can be done in Italy…”
