Allure Backstage Spring 2008 – Textured Hair. It’s a tease: Rough hairstyles with volume complement this season’s textured clothes. Textured Hair was of the biggest beauty trends at the Spring 2008 collections and it’s one of our favourite looks for summer.

Hair stylists Luigi Murenu explains, “It’s like dream hair – it’s the kind of hair that every woman wants.” Backstage at the fashion shows no one had straight hair as hairstylists bent, waved and teased hair to give it an airy, roughed up quality. At Proenza Schouler the clothes had a lot of texture so the hair had a lot of texture as well.

Allure Magazine Editor-in-Chief Linda Wells reports backstage at the top Spring 2008 collections in New York, Milan and Paris. For all the hottest beauty news go to Allure.com
