The beauty look at Giorgio Armani Fall 2010 has a space age feel about it. Makeup artist Linda Cantello brought the focus to the eyes and swiped red and grey stripes above the lids and then left the rest of the face bare. Hairstylist Oribe gave the models hair a geometric shape, as he told us backstage its "super sexy and modern".

The look of Prada for Fall 2010 "is about womanly beauty with a dark twist". Pat McGrath gave the models strong eyebrows and Guido Palau did exaggerated 50's beehives that had a futuristic feel about them. Go backstage with supermodels Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio.

Minimal is not a word you normally associate with the house of Versace, but for her Fall 2010 Collection Designer Donatalla Versace decided to do something young and fresh. The model casting really influenced the beauty look that makeup artist Pat McGrath and hairstylist Guido created.

With so many young new faces cast for the show Pat McGrath focused on keeping the girls looking real and gorgeous, and well, just like themselves.  The Versace Fall 2010 collection really rocks - it's full of color, graphic prints and beautiful sexy dresses. In a word, it's hot.

Go backstage with makeup artist Dick Page and hairstylist Guido Palau at the YSL Fall 2010 show in Paris. The Look: Pink fuchsia shadow was mixed with grey liner on the eyes, and the hair was inspired by a photograph of french actress Jeanne Moreau, giving the models a sexy authority.

The look is inspired by one of Michael's favorite photos taken by American photographer Arthur Elgort for American Vogue in the 70's. It's fresh, young and aspirational. Go backstage with Pat McGrath and Luigi Murenu at the Givenchy Show in Paris. Red glitter was used on the models mouths to make their lips pop. The hair is sophisticated but easy, and Luigi styled it so the girls looked like a 'modern Brigette Bardot'.

There is probably no other designer in the world who perfectly captures the mood of the season than Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz. For Lanvin Fall 2010 Collection that meant projecting an image of femininity and strength. Hairstylist Guido Palau's iconic, manga inspired black wigs and Pat McGrath's dark smouldering eyes gave the models a uniform sensual look.

Everything about this show was exotic, intoxicating and beautiful. Alber Elbaz told us he was making a statement about individuality, about women around the world all looking the same.  He was posing the question,  "Do you like what you see when everyone has the same look?".

The Balmain girl always has a rock and roll vibe. Her clothes ooze sex and glamour which is why the beauty look at this show is always simple and chic. For Fall 2010 Makeup Artist Tom Pecheux created a "perfected" no makeup look - perfect skin, eyes, lips, cheeks and eyebrows. Hairstylist Sam McKnight gave the models a 'polished natural" look. As Pecheux describes it, the result is 'perfectly naughty".

Dolce & Gabbana's Fall 2010 Collection is one of the best of the season. The beauty look makeup artist Pat McGrath and hairstylist Eugene Souleiman created was strong, sexy and classic.

Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana have gone back to their Southern Italian roots for this collection: Sartorialita, Sicilianita and Sensualita are the words they used to describe the inspiration for this show. The look of Roberto Cavalli for Fall 2010 is a luxurious hippy. The beauty look captures one of the major trends of the new fall season "grunge revisited". Backstage makeup artist Pat McGrath and hairstylist Guido Palau perfectly captured that cool look - disheveled hair, smudgy makeup - minus the grittiness. Courtney Love, one of the icons of the grunge era is a major fan of Roberto Cavalli, and we spoke to her backstage before the show.

Go backstage at Gucci's Fall 2010 Collection in Milan with makeup artist Pat McGrath and hairstylist Luigi Murenu. The look - intense sexy eyes and long beautiful luxurious hair is reminiscent of American model Lauren Hutton. Featuring interviews with top models Maryna Linchuk, Chanel Iman and Anja Rubik.

The look of Proenza Schouler's Fall 2010 collection is young, urban, and ultra-cool. The models dark crimson lips and disheveled hair perfectly captures one of the hottest beauty trends of the fall season, "grunge revisited". Designers Jack McCollough Lazaro Hernandez told us they were inspired by iconic women of the early 90's - think Juliette Lewis and Winona Rider.

For Fall 2010 Marc Jacobs cast his show with models who were mostly new faces. Many of the girls were unknown and had never walked in his show before which helped give the show an sense of innocence and freshness.

Francois Nars said the makeup was inspired by Kate Moss.  Soft, faded lavender eyeshadow on the eyelids and pale orange lipstick gave the models a delicate look. The hair looked like the models did it themselves. As Guido explained "there's an ease to her sophistication and glamour".

New York designer Diane Von Furstenberg always wants women to feel sexy when they put on one of her dresses, but for Fall 2010 there was also a menswear influence, " I always wanted to have a man's life in a woman's body" but she added "but you don't want to forget being a woman". We love the fact that Diane always keeps it real, and makes clothes that everyone can wear. It was also great to see one of our favorite models, Natalia Vodianova open and close the show.
