There is probably no other designer in the world who perfectly captures the mood of the season than Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz. For Fall 2010 that meant projecting an image of femininity and strength. Hairstylist Guido Palau's iconic black wigs and Pat McGrath's dark smouldering eyes gave the models a uniform sensual look.

Everything about this show was exotic, intoxicating and beautiful. Alber Elbaz told us he was making a statement about individuality, about women around the world all looking the same.  He was posing the question,  "Do you like what you see when everyone has the same look?".

Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 Collection for Louis Vuitton was fun, young and inspired by new age travelers. The show was over the top - all the models wore gigantic Afros and they looked like accessory-obessed cyber club kids. Jacobs understands what style is about, and knows how to connect with a global audience. For the the first time he streamed the Louis Vuitton runway show live on the LV Facebook page. After the show backstage Katy Perry told us she loves his style - "everything he does is so fresh, Marc is a staple for me" Hair by Guido, Maekup by Pat McGrath.

As Designer Marc Jacobs told us backstage at his Louis Vuitton show in Paris "life is a blast.. so you might as well enjoy it". It's that upbeat, positive energy that Jacobs so perfectly captures in his collection for Fall 2009.   Inspired by some of the world's most famous French female icons, Pat McGrath gave the models a look that was part Brigitte Bardot and part Playboy Bunny.
